Rescue Professionals
know the importance of performing a
rescue without putting the rescuer
at risk. This is the fundamental underlying
our complete line of products.
The ResQmax™ has been developed
to assist departments in meeting the requirements of NFPA 1006 and NFPA 1670.
As a non-pyrotechnic it does not require special storage, shipping or licensing
-- is intrinsically safe -- and is fueled by compressed air -- making training
an inexpensive operation. This equipment is an essential for swiftwater rescue,
ice rescue, surf water rescue, technical rope rescue and fills a host of applications
in an emergency.
The ResQsling is a hand deployed auto-inflating flotation harness and throw
line. It is available in configurations for a variety of users in emergency
situations.
Used with or without a retrieval line, the HeliSling® is a compactly stored
auto-inflating flotation harness designed specifically to provide flotation
and/or hoisting rescue of victims in the water. |

Applications |

The Tactical
ResQmax was
developed to meet the expanding
needs of tactical police, security
and military
teams, in both land-based and maritime
environments, worldwide.
This new generation system is designed
to deploy a line only, or a grappling
hook and climbing line, or a grappling
hook and ascending ladder, to an
otherwise inaccessible point – to
assist trained professionals in
accomplishing their mission.
The unit is suitable for both
vertical deployment, for such purposes
as;
*
boarding a ship
* ascending a rock face
* ascending a building
or other structure
It is also suitable
for horizontal
deployment, for a wide variety
of purposes
such
as establishing
a line;
* across a river or stream
* between the roof tops of
buildings
* from ship-to-ship for towing lines
or for underway replenishment
purposes
Flat black in color, and
fueled by compressed
air, the projectile leaves no signature trail.
At
discharge the only sound
is a “whoosh” of
air
barely, if at all, audible
from the target location.
Any combinations
of lines, ladders or grappling
hooks may be included
in
your Tactical
ResQmax kit. Accessories from other
product lines, such
as
the ResQmax sling projectile
may also be used with the
Tactical ResQmax. |

The ALM-T and ALM-T-HP series
were designed to suit the missions
of
modern day Tactical & Special
Forces units - for use in applications
which may include severe exposure
to marine environments, including
submersion in seawater - such as
sub-surface movements of swimmers,
as well as for land-based and surface
based maritime environments.
Each launcher housing is cast
from Grade IV Titanium, and each
launcher
mechanism is machined from Ti 6AL-4V
Titanium. Titanium is inert to seawater.
The ALM - T projectiles are made
from 6061-T6 heat treated aluminum,
with
a service pressure of 3,000 psi.
/ 207 Bar. The ALM - T - HP series is designed
for the same applications as the
ALM - T, but offers higher performance,
operating at higher service pressure.
The projectiles are made from Ti
6AL-4V
heat treated titanium,
with
a service
pressure of 4,500 psi. / 300
Bar.

In a man-overboard
situation there is very little time
to react. Crew on-board can quickly
lose sight of a victim in the water,
even in moderate seas. Heavy seas,
inexperienced crew, darkness, fog,
and all of the other conditions that
can quickly overtake a mariner can
make recovery nearly impossible.
On lightly crewed vessels the
victim is often the most qualified
(or only qualified) crew member able
to perform a rescue at sea. Crew
remaining on-board are often
unfamiliar with, and or unable to perform the traditional "figure 8" maneuver
used to recover a victim.
Cold water conditions can limit
the time available to rescue an individual
to only a few minutes. Hypothermia can quickly turn a man-overboard event
in cold
water conditions into a recover operation, or result in a "lost at sea" event.
A RescueSling,
stored in a custom-molded, rigid,
weatherproof rail case at
the stern of the boat equips remaining
crew to immediately deliver an auto-inflating
flotation harness and a retrieval line to a victim in the water up to 125
feet from the vessel.
The water activated sling is attached to a buoyant lifeline with a reach
of 125 feet. It's all contained in a compact, easy-to-handle, "Throw Bag" that
reaches its target in seconds.
As indispensable as a fire extinguisher
or first aid kit for boats and homes
on the water. |
