HeliSling 6-pack

Designed in co-operation with Los Angeles County Police Department, the HeliSling is intended to provide flotation to multiple victims, while fitting compactly into the tight confines of a helicopter or high freeboard vessel. The HeliSling is also suitable for use from ships with high freeboards, such as cruise or cargo ships, or ferries.

Available in a handy 6-pack bag, individual drop capsules provide rapid flotation to victims in the water from the first helicopter able to respond.

The light-weight, auto-inflating Sling allows immediate delivery of life-saving flotation to multiple victims in the water, providing the time needed for rescue personnel to retrieve individual victims, or for secondary response vessels to respond to the scene.

The high strength Spectra webbing with a designated hook point permits safe hoisting using a conventional helicopter winch and line, or a ship's derrick.

The HeliSling belongs on every helicopter that takes to the air near a body of water, regardless of rescue experience or ability.
